Men's Summit  

The Family Strong Foundation (FSF) is a 501c3 tax exempt nonprofit organization, established in St. Landry Parish in 2012. The vision of FSF is to empower families to take control of their financial futures, improve their quality of life, be productive citizens, and perpetuate hope for generations to come. We strive to fulfill our mission statement through community outreach and social service projects. We host monthly events to fulfill our vision. The Family Strong Foundation, State Representative Dustin Miller, St. Landry Parish School Board and Opelousas Police Department are hosting our 4th Annual Men’s Health Summit, which is geared towards men of all ages from all backgrounds, and its main focus is to improve the quality of life for men in the parish. The summit is Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9am to 12:00pm at the St. Landry Parish School Board Resource Center Opelousas, LA. There are three components to our goal for this event; men will engage in physical, mental, and financial improvement activities that will expand their exposure and skill sets with the intent to help them achieve their best self-possible. We believe in the potential of our men in the community.
